Polishing off the competition: a furniture wipe for the local market

A local manufacturer saw market possibilities for a value for money furniture wipe manufactured locally and approached us to produce one.

Furniture wipes utilise a chemically bonded fabric impregnated with a special oil. When applied on wood surfaces the wipe deposits a thin film of the oil to reduce static and, thereby, dust build up.

Although not an innovation in itself, this was the first time such products had been manufactured locally. They have already won considerable share of a market previously dominated by expensive imports.
